My visit was nothing to be desired again!! The server Cheryl started out really good, but that went downhill once I complained about the frozen sour cream/salsa I was given for my chicken fajita omelet. I mentioned I’ve never been given condiments that cold before. She insisted giving room temperature condiments are against standards. I was asked if I wanted my food microwaved..NO! The omelet was returned but not taken off the bill. My table was ignored the remainder of our visit so much so I had to track her down to pay the bill. The meal was discounted $5 so when I asked about paying $8.99 for a short stack of pancakes that are menu priced $7.49 I got a lame excuse then she dismissed my military discount! Cheryl has just cost any future visits from a pancake loving family to this IHOP again!! The waitresses are great. The time it takes for to get your food wouldn't be a problem if your food showed up looking good. I got half the amount of food I should have gotten. The 2 pieces of chicken strips I got made McDonald's chicken nuggets look big. And my hash browns where just nasty and hard. After waiting almost 10 minutes to be acknowledged, I had to get almost rude (got my own coffee and asked to speak to a manager since the manager should be helping seat if they are that busy) before we could get a table. There was no one else waiting for a table. No manager on duty, I was told, but we did finally get seated and served water. Watched the staff stand around while I sat there with an empty coffee cup. Poor, poor service, but the food was good and mostly hot. I recommend that you find somewhere else to eat, people, at least on a Saturday afternoon. I've always had good service at the Windbreak! Food was served quickly and was great. Erin is a superb server, very attentive and professional. Great job guys! Disgusting, very dirty. Poor service, lack of inventory. Went before lunch and were out of first three things we ordered. Asked for lemon in tea. Prep cook had to cut them and was served them on a tray. No napkin, no bowl, bare hands. Glasses and silverware were filthy. Really do not understand why the health department has not shut them down. We left before we got our food out of disgust mostly but also long wait time with hardly any customers. On the way out saw an employee eating on the food prep line. Absolutely disgusting and unworthy of the IHOP franchise name. I've been to IHOPs in many states and never experienced anything near this lackluster.
